Security Engineer (f/m/d)

We are looking for a Security Engineer (f/m/d) for our growing company group in Berlin.

As a Security Engineer (m/f/d), you will develop and implement security measures, conduct threat analyses and tests, monitor security incidents, ensure compliance with standards, and support our development teams with security-related issues.

Your Tasks:

• Development and implementation of security measures to protect our systems and applications

• Conducting security assessments, threat analyses, and penetration tests

• Monitoring and analyzing security incidents and developing countermeasures

• Ensuring compliance with security standards and guidelines (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001, GDPR)

• Implementing and maintaining security solutions such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and encryption technologies

• Advising and training of our development team on security-related topics and best practices

Your Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of professional experience in IT security, cybersecurity, or as a Security Engineer

• Solid knowledge in threat analysis, penetration testing, and security assessments, as well as experience in implementing security standards and guidelines

• Experience with security solutions and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM)

• Experience with cloud security architectures is preferred

• Team player with the ability to work independently and a strong problem-solving aptitude

• At least good proficiency in English
