We are looking for a Data Engineer (f/m/d) for our growing company group in Berlin.

As a Data Engineer (m/f/d), you will build our BI architecture from scratch, create insightful reporting and analytics processes for our finance and management team, visualize key data and support internal stakeholders in leveraging data and BI tools effectively.

Your Tasks:

  • Establishment and further development of our BI architecture (incl. data models, pipelines, governance)

  • Create structured reporting and analysis processes in close collaboration with Finance & Controlling and management

  • Visualize complex data relationships and KPIs using BI tools like Power BI

  • Implement and operationalize initial data science use cases, such as forecasting, anomaly detection and CLV

  • Build robust ETL/ELT processes with tools like Python and dbt

  • Identify and integrate adequate technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance data capabilities

  • Advise and train internal stakeholders on data and BI tools

Stellenanforderungen

Your Qualifications: 

  • Several years of experience in Data Science, Data Engineering or Business Intelligence

  • Strong knowledge of Python, SQL, Power BI and modern cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure)

  • Experience in building BI and data infrastructures from scratch

  • Understanding of business processes, ideally in a finance/controlling context

  • High level of self-responsibility, structured working style and strong communication skills

  • Nice to have: Experience with dbt, Pentaho, dremio or similar
